On November 6 (All Saints Sunday), Pastor Katy preaches on Micah 6:6-8. Have you ever felt pulled in so many directions that you just stopped, threw up your hands and screamed out, “What do you want from me, God!?” The question goes back all the way to the people of Israel and their own struggles to keep their focus on God in a world enveloping them with demands. On the eve of our nation’s presidential election, good people are torn about God’s will for our country. On the day when we remember and honor those who have died in the past year, we reflect on our own legacies and wonder at what God asks of us. From the seat of Israel, we claim God’s simple response: do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God.
