On January 22, Pastor Pam preaches on Psalm 27:1-8.
Psalm 27’s text has an interesting blend of confidence and weakness. It is a Scripture that is attributed to the “pre-anointed” King David during the years he spends fleeing from the wrath of King Saul. David writes about the importance of having trust instead of fear, seeking light through his darkness, and finding strength in times of his weakness. In our faith journey, we are much like David, seeking the face of God in a world of turmoil and spiritual “fleeing.”
