On Dec. 24, Pastor Katy preaches on Luke 24:1-5.
Ebenezer Scrooge wakens from the strangest dream he’s ever had, and a determination to change his own future. The Ghost of Christmas Future reveals the gloom of what is to come if Scrooge does not change his ways, and it horrifies him. Each of us carries our own fears about what the future might or might not hold for us. Revelation 1:4 reminds us that we worship a God “who is and who was and who is to come.” Nothing in our past, nothing in our present, and nothing in our future can separate us from God’s incredible and incarnate love.
