On December 10, Pastor Katy preaches on John 4:7-10, 16-19.
We all have a past. Some of us look back fondly on days that are etched in our memories as “the good ol’ days,” while looking back causes others pain and grief. For Ebenezer Scrooge, as for most of us, it’s probably a combination of both joy and pain for decisions made and paths taken. Scripture is full of people who wish their lives had turned out differently, but Jesus reminds them as he reminds us that he came to redeem all aspects of our past. No decision is too tainted, no shame too great, and no hole too deep for Jesus to find and heal our past.
