Songstress Erin Ivey on tap for The Listening Room
Austin singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Erin Ivey will perform her critically acclaimed music at The Listening Room at Oak Hill on May 19.
Ivey has performed hundreds of shows worldwide in various solo and band arrangements, sharing the stage with the likes of Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris and Heart. Her latest album, “Solace in the Wild,“ reached No. 5 on the International Folk Radio chart . It also was nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Folk Album alongside her single, “Dust Bowl,” which was up for Best American Roots song.
Ivey will perform at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7. A $25 per person donation is requested. Most of the proceeds go to the musician.
The Listening Room is intended to provide a space to support local music in our community away from the hassles of downtown. The shows are produced by Oak Hill UMC in partnership with CasadB Productions.
