The Listening Room presents Beat Root Revival

Beat Root Revival, made up of multi-instrumentalists Andrea Magee and Ben Jones, will perform Friday, February 20 at the Listening Room in the Oak Hill UMC Sanctuary.

The dynamic duo combines folk, blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll with melodic harmonies to captivate audiences. Originally from England and Ireland, the two came to the United States like their ancestors before them, looking for a new life and to share their music.

“They have the beat, rooted in old music…creating a revival,” one critic said. “A fusion of foot-stomping rhythm, acoustic-driven guitar, tribal Irish drum beats and tight harmonies creating a unique sound, leaving audiences shocked there are only two people on stage. A must-see duo.”

The concert begins at 7:30 pm, with doors opening at 7 pm. A $25 per person donation is requested.
