Journey Inward on Holy Saturday: A Labyrinth Walk

Embark on a spiritual journey this Holy Saturday (April 19) with an ancient Christian tradition: walking a labyrinth! For centuries, labyrinths have served as paths for prayer, meditation, and pilgrimage. Traditionally, Holy Saturday is a time of waiting, a liminal space between the sorrow of Good Friday and the joy of Easter Sunday. Walking the labyrinth can be a powerful way to reflect, pray, and find stillness during this sacred time.

Walk at Your Own Pace:

The labyrinth is open for self-guided walks throughout the day. Feel free to come and walk at any time that resonates with you. (Please note: our Easter Egg Hunt will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm).

Instructions and Guidance:

We will provide a brief handout at the labyrinth entrance with instructions and reflection prompts to guide your walk. You can also access a digital guide via a QR code at the labyrinth. Or download the handout here.

Where is our labyrinth located? Check out the campus map on this page.

Group Walk:

If you’d rather not walk alone, join us for a group walk at 5:00 pm on April 19. We will walk together, sharing in the experience and creating a space for communal reflection.

Reflection and Discussion:

Following the group walk, we will take time for reflection and sharing experiences. For those who cannot stay, reflection questions will be included in the handout.

Come and experience the labyrinth as a path to inner peace and spiritual renewal on this Holy Saturday. We look forward to walking with you!
